There are many Pet Grooming and Veterinary Assistant job opportunities throughout the United States. Many requests are available for each Pet Grooming and Veterinary Assistant graduates of the Florida Institute of Animal Arts.
The school provides a Job Referral Service to our graduates at anytime. We are constantly listing new employment opportunities on our Job Opportunities page (available only to graduates and employers). All efforts will be made to aid our graduates in finding employment. We furnish the names, addresses and phone numbers of employers that are looking for qualified applicants. We will act as your reference, speaking on your behalf.
In the Veterinary Assistant profession, we have a list of many positions available in small and large animal practices. There are also some jobs available in emergency hospitals, research institutions and zoos, but most students start their careers in private practices.
In the Pet Grooming profession, we have a list of grooming shops, mobile grooming businesses, pet stores, kennels and veterinary offices throughout the United States looking for professional pet groomers. If a graduate is interested in owning their own Grooming Business, we will provide them with a list of grooming shops, kennels, pet sitting businesses, pet stores and other pet related businesses currently for sale. If a graduate would like to open their own grooming shop, we will assist them on the basics of set-up, licensing, costs and other related issues to open a grooming business.
HOUSING
Students located outside the Orlando, Florida area wishing to enroll at Florida Institute Of Animal Arts, housing that is available in dormitories, apartments and extended stay hotels are provided.
Housing is located near all of the Orlando major attractions. Disney World, Universal Studios and Seaworld are just minutes away. Miles of gorgeous beaches are only a short drive from the Institute.

International Student Policy
Florida Institute of Animal Arts encourages the opportunity for International students to attend our school. The Florida Institute of Animal Arts has been approval by the U.S. Immigration and Naturalization Service for attendance by International students.
The Florida Institute of Animal Arts accepts International students with a M-1 Visa.
